Find the right guide

  • New here? The home page has a short "Start here" path: a few guides in the order that makes most sense for a beginner.
  • Not sure which way to earn suits you? Under "Find a way to earn that fits you" on the home page, tick "I need the money within weeks" and/or "I can't risk my own money" to see how many guides fit, then open the matching list.
  • Compare them all in compare ways to earn: every method on the blog side by side, with how soon it can pay and whether your own money is at risk. The two filters, "Ways that can pay within weeks" and "None of my own money at risk", narrow the list.
  • Browse all articles, or one category: Affiliate Marketing, AI, Ecommerce, Freelancing, Gambling and Betting, Newsletters, Online Trading, Reward Programs, Websites, YouTube.
  • See every page at once on the sitemap.

Reading a guide

  • Longer guides open with an "In this guide" box that lists the sections; click one to jump to it.
  • Once that box has scrolled away, a slim bar at the bottom of the screen shows your progress and the section you are in, for example "Section 3 of 9". Tap it to open the same list.
  • Many guides end with frequently asked questions, followed by related guides to read next.
  • Share a guide by email or on Facebook, LinkedIn or X with the buttons on the page.

Pick up where you left off

If you leave a guide partway through (after about the first tenth), the home page and the blog index offer it back to you with the reading time left, and the link takes you to the spot where you stopped. Once you reach the end, it is cleared. Press "Not now" to forget it sooner.

Your place is stored only in your own browser and never sent to us, so it does not follow you to another device, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes it. Details are in the privacy policy.

The free tools

Side income calculator

The side income calculator turns your hours per week, hourly rate, weeks worked per year, monthly costs (tools, fees, software) and the tax percentage you want to set aside into a monthly and yearly take-home figure, in US dollars, euros or pounds. Add an optional monthly income goal and it shows how many hours a week that goal needs. The tax percentage is your own estimate, so check your real position with your tax authority or an accountant.

Your old wage as a freelance rate

The freelancing guide includes a small calculator that applies its rule of thumb: quote about double your old hourly wage and set a third of it aside for tax. It updates as you type, and its button opens the full calculator with your numbers filled in.

About affiliate links

Links that start with /link/ are affiliate links: if you sign up or buy after following one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is how the site is paid for. What you buy is between you and that company. The terms of use explain this in full.

Questions, problems and corrections

Our guides are general information, not financial advice; the terms of use explain what that means.
